Welcome to the SHH - Speen Helping Hospices website

This website was created in November 2020 when we were unable to hold our annual Christmas Market due to Covid regulations. We revised our initial plans and started organising a Christmas market in a large marquee in Speen, but further restrictions were introduced so we created an online shop.

The SHH - Speen Helping Hospices site has now been developed to highlight our forthcoming events in detail and all our previous fundraising since 2001 in the Chiltern Villages.

SHH (Speen Helping Hospices) is a small voluntary group run by a team of committed women from Speen and North Dean in the Chilterns in Buckinghamshire to fundraise for four local hospices - Helen & Douglas House for Children - Rennie Grove and Peace Hospice Care - South Bucks Hospice at Butterfly House - Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity. SHH - Speen Helping Hospices are looking for people in the Chilterns to raise money for SHH by taking part in a local fun run/half marathon/cycle race or other event.

 

If you are planning or considering taking part in a sporting event, would you help others by fundraising for SHH in the Chiltern Villages as you run in a short race - marathon / cycle / swim or abseil down a tower as one supporter did in 2024?

We, at SHH will support you on your fundraising journey, we would promote your participation locally and via social media and our website to attract sponsorship.

If you are up for this challenge, now is the time to plan it.
