Annual SHH Ladies Spring Lunch @ The Horse Trust, Speen -Wednesday 6th May 2026

The Horse Trust has once again made their beautiful Sefton Barn available to us for the SHH Annual Ladies Spring Lunch.

This event is a very important fundraiser on our calendar and we would love you to join us for a home cooked three course meal + coffee & chocolates and a complimentary glass of wine.

12.00 for 1.00 -Tickets £40 per person (including a complimentary glass of wine)

[click on image to enlarge] Another excellent Ladies Spring Lunch. Instead of a hospice speaker giving a short talk, Chair of SHH Gráinne Suter spoke before the lunch had started and guests were enjoying their glasses of complimentary wine. Gráinne talked about the 25th Anniversary of SHH and how important it was to raise funds for the local hospices and in particular how they look after patients and their families. A member of the local community had passed away just before Christmas 2025. Her husband was very happy to have told Gráinne about the excellent work carried out by one of the hospice charities that SHH raises funds for.

The visitors spent a lot of money on the SHH Recipe Book that has been produced to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of SHH. The books cost £10 each and has been generously sponsored by Hildreth’s Cook & Gift Shop at their Garden Centre, Prestwood in Buckinghamshire - Find out more here

There was also a raffle and Ashridge Home Care donated a hamper. Image below on left.
